About me

Work Bio

Michael is an accomplished marketing professional with more than 25 years of experience. His career has encompassed all aspects of marketing from strategy and research to branding to digital advertising and social media. He has played roles on both the agency and client sides of the business, has worked on both the domestic and international level, and has been well-versed with large global corporations as well as technology-based startups. Previously, he was a senior vice president at ABN AMRO Bank, a global financial institution. He served as the global head of marketing for international trade where he elevated the group’s recognition amongst clients and prospects, and helped the bank win industry awards for their services. In addition, he was head of marketing for the Americas and was instrumental in the successful re-branding of employee, client and product initiatives as it related to the institution’s acquisition by The Royal Bank of Scotland. At Screaming Garlic, Michael has focused on CPG, financial software, health & fitness, and publishing clients helping them use data-driven tools to make strategic and tactical decisions that bring revenue and recognition.

Real Bio

I grew up in Newark and Glen Ridge, NJ. I went to Syracuse and was on the track team. I studied marketing and communications. Now, I like to make movies. I have 3 children and live in Millburn, NJ with my wife and dog. I still like to run, but not as fast as I used to. Favorite quote: “We’re already dead and this is hell.”
